The Kruger National Park is the largest and most important in South Africa, internationally famous as the King of the National Parks. For the delicate management of ecological balance, is a product of experience won by more than a century.
With an area of 2,000,000 hectares, has 147 species of mammals, including (Big Five) Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard and Lion, 507 species of birds, 114 species of reptiles and 33 species of amphibians. The park can be visited throughout the year and each season has its own special attraction in the spring - summer, from October to March, the trees and shrubs in flower, all the rivers and streams are full of life. It is the moment in which the mammals reproduce, therefore it is common to see offspring.
In the autumn - winter, from April to September the weather is perfect, warm and dry grasslands are low and allow you to see at a larger distance, many rivers and springs are dry, making it easier to find the highest concentration of animals for drinking water sources or in permanent lakes, the ability to view a game is greater.
Within the park there are 14 camps that offer a wide range of accommodation, Lodges of luxury, thatched cottages, bungalows, chalets and tents, as well as restaurants, cafes, typical items, swimming pools, golf, etc.
