The National Park of Hlane Royal covers an area of 22,000 hectares. It is dominated by vegetation of ancient trees, the main mammals that can be found are: lion, white rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, antelope, etc. The park is blessed with a rich and diverse fauna of birds, including the greater density of white eagles nesting in Africa.

The park can be visited throughout and each season has its own special attraction in the spring - summer, from October to March, the trees and shrubs in flower, is the moment in which the mammals reproduce, therefore it is common to see many young newly born.

In the autumn - winter, from April to September the weather is perfect, warm and dry grasslands are low and allow you to see at a larger distance, many rivers and sources are dry, making it easier to find a greater concentration of animals for drinking water sources or in permanent lakes, the ability to view a game is greater.

Within the park there are two camps with two types of accommodation, huts and bungalows of straw, a restaurant and a shop selling local items.
